Triplecale is a blend of three high yielding triticale varieties. This blend is especially well suited for production north of I-20. You can expect higher crude protein levels, higher and more consistent yields as compared to winter wheat or triticale alone.
The advantages of forage blends should not be ignored and include added tonnage, balanced nutrition, improved palatability, reduced lodging and consistent performance. Adding diversity to your rotation is always a good strategy!
